My grandmother, Honora/Nora Mahony, is from Garravane, Seeconglas, Limerick. She married Bartholomew Sheehan and raised her family in Garravane. One of her sons, David Sheehan, b. in 1865 is my grandfather. Is there any connection to your David Mahony?
My grandmother was Mary O'hara (nee Cremin), originally from Brosna. She died in 1994 at the age of 84. She had 12 brothers and sisters. I am very sure that your grandmother and my grandmother were sisters.
