Hi, I'm looking for information on John Blackey (Born 13 January 1821, Glasgow, Scotland, Died 2 October 1870, Vanheerdensdam, District Bloemfontein) He married Maggel Johanna Catharina van der Merwe (Born 1830, Colesberg, and Died 20 January 1863, Vanheerdensdam, district Fauresmith) I know they had a daugter Jane Esther Blackey (born 26 September 1850, died 1934) who married Johannes Hendrik van Niekerk (died 1910) John and Maggel also had another daughter Helena Elizabeth Blackey.
If there is any more info on John Blackey, his children etc. I would like to know if there were any other children and more info on the abovementioned people.
