I am searching for the late Daniel Tindall born in 1758 Eghan Surrey England, he married a Amelia Jane from Southwark Surrey England this family came out to Australia on different vessels. Daniel being a convict came out to Australia aboard the Duke of Portland on the 20/1/1803 with Thomas Newman and William Lander. Amelia came out (free) later with small children aboard the Vessel Kangaroo in 22/1/1814. They settled in Liverpool N.S.W. Sydney Australia. My name is Geoff Tindall and I ama descendant of daniel Tindall the eldest son of Daniel Tindall the convict who arrived in 1803 on the Duke of Portland. He was convicted of treason for conspiring to kill king George III and seize the Tower of London and the Bank of England. He was in a band of men led by Col Edward Marcus Despard. He was emancipated in 1817. His children settled in Liverpool and some of their history can be found in the publication " the Pioneers of Liverpool".
