I am finding that when I download a file in PDF the dates are changing for example I have put that someone is born on 02/03/1934 which to me means 2nd March 1934, but when it is printed it say he is born Feb 3, 1934. Is this because of the American dating system. I am from New Zealand. Is there someway this can be fixed?
I have photos showing up in the Tag Process that I don't want to tag and I cannot delete them - also I have photos that I want to tag that won't shop up to be tagged.
I have established a tree and have approx 14 families in the tree. Some families have expressed an interest in keeping their own section of the tree updated. If they establish their own trees, how can I link those updated trees into my tree?

I just came to this site for the first time, downloaded the software and began entering my information on my local computer. Much to my surprise, I found a complete stranger on here with my family, including detailed information on my 6 year old son!
Can members edit information about individuals on a family tree for example birth and death dates, can they add people? can they overall edit the tree?. I have the privacy setting as Mixed. I would think this is possible but I am very new to this and am struggling to sort it out. Please inform me how and if they can without downloading the myfamilytree software and downloading the tree. Is it possible to do just online?
